The band travelled to Monkstown to attend their now annual paraded hosted by the local Monkstown YCV band; by the time we arrived the parade was under way and we quickly formed up to join at the end of the parade precession.
I got to see the Newtownards Volunteer Flute, Shankill Star, and Pride of the Hill from Carnmoney, all the bands seem to been playing well and where all cheered on by a good sized crowd who had gathered to watch the parade even though there was another bigger parade on the same night in local Carrick.
Tonight we walked with 18 side drummers, 28 fluters, 2 bass drummers, colour party of 9, 2 marshals and a drum major.
Below are a selection of photographs of the band in action.

This is a short parade and all bands who attend have been privately invited only and I was pleased to see that all the bands where well turned out in numbers and I trust that the Liverpool boys where pleased with the nights events.
Thanks to everyone connected with the parade and we are always happy to attend this function.
