Today we paraded infront of our home crowd at the East Belfast Memorial parade
hosted by the UVF Regimental band on their 40th year.
The rain threatened to ruin the parade earlier in the day but it cleared up just before
and turned out to be a very dry and warm day.
Led by the Regimental band the parade snaked around East Belfast before finishing
at the Belvoir bar. Huge crowds all day and 30 or so of Ulsters finest bands on show.
Pride of the Grange Scotland also on show, good to see them over. Pride of the Raven,
Mourne Young Defenders and the City of Belfast Fifes and Drums boasting the melody section.
Blood and Thunder bands on show included Pride of Lagan Valley, Crimson Star, Goldsprings,
Monkstown YCV, South Belfast Young Conquerors, LSO Benagh, Gertrude Star, Tullycarnet, Rising
Sons, Shankill Star, West Belfast Volunteers, Shankill Protestant Boys, Ballyclare and Cloughfern
Young Conquerors. So it was quite a show and a great way for the UVF Regimental to
celebrate their 40th year.
Below are a selection of photographs of the band in action.
