We headed across the city to support the under siege Protestant estate of Suffolk
that is totally surrounded by the scum!
Great to see a good turnout of over 40 bands.
Its a pity more dont attend this event, people in this estate dont even have a shop
they can go to without abuse. Maybe more could attend to lift the spirits of the Protestant
enclave.
Weather wise it started of wet but it soon brightend up to become a good afternoon in sunny Suffolk.
Garden partys are the norm up here and the locals always encourage the bands. Its always a good feeling
there.
Bands i seen today included Pride of Knockmore in their new uniform. South Belfast Young Conquerors,
Pride of the Shore, Ballymacarret Defenders, Miller Memorial, Pride of the Hill Rathfriland, Clogher Protestant
Boys and Lower Woodstock Ulster Scots who were low in numbers and did their best, well done! The Sons of Kai and Cloghfern Young
Conquerors adding to the parade in their own way. The Shankill Star and SOU Shankill all on show as were the LSO Benagh, Finaghy True Blues and Ballyclare
Protestant FB. Great to see a good turnout on a wet start with plenty of "Thunder" about.
Below are a selection of photographs of the band in action.
