After what seemed like a really long winter break it was brilliant to get back out onto the road.
The Greengairs Thistle don't get an easy ride in their home country of Scotland so it is good to see them holding what is now an annual parade
here in Ulster. The route wasnt bad with quit a bit of passing at the top. Some 15 bands in attendance which isnt bad considering the season is just kicking of.
On the band side of things it was brilliant to see one of our local bands, the Lower Woodstock up in numbers compared to last season. The band
work really hard to stay at a very good standard and it showed tonight. The SOU Shankill seemed to hit the ground running as did the Shankill Star, both bands will certainly turn heads this season. I didn't get to see many other bands and im sorry i missed the hosts but there is always next time.
Below are a selection of photographs of the band in action.
