The Pride of the Ravens parade this year was held for the Irish Guards fund which i hear was well supported via the collection tins.
Around 20 bands attended, an average turnout which isnt helped by the football season now rapping on bands doors. Saturday football is a real killer for bands as alot of members do both.
A good dry day with some great bands on show. The Miller Memorial in good tune, Blues and Royals, South Belfast Young Conquerors and the Lisburn YD to name a few. The route of the parade is well known with the only downside being a Saturday afternoon which is hard to get people out watching. It really did feel like an end of season affair. The Ravens record for supporting good causes cannot be matched by anyone, well done lads.
Below is a selection of photographs of the band in action.
